JAMES PAUL LINDSEY 57, of Ewa, HI, passed away on August 11, 2014, after much strength and courage. Born September 24, 1956 in Honolulu, HI. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and was a dedicated and beloved retiree from Matson. He was a loving brother, devoted uncle, nephew and colleague. He was a joyful presence in the lives of numerous family and friends and will be deeply missed. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his caring spirit, his wonderfully generous soul, and his commitment to all those around him.
His spirit is carried on by four surviving siblings, Pete (Rae) Lindsey, Joey (Marilei) Lindsey, Michael (Annie) Lindsey, and Eva Lindsey; numerous nieces and nephews and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life. James is reunited with his father, George Lindsey, Sr., mother, Mary (Makuaole) Lindsey; sisters Darlene (Ernest) Torricer and Deborah (Francis) Moylan.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation, Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 10 a.m., followed by his funeral service, 12 noon, at Borthwick Mortuary, 1330 Maunakea St., Honolulu, HI. He will be graciously laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples, 47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe, HI.
