Clement P. Enoka Jr. was born on August 25, 1942 to Clement Patrick Enoka Sr. and Adeline Enoka. He passed away on
September 19, 2011 at the age of 69 surrounded by his loving family and friends and dressed in his favorite Manuheali'i shirt.
Born and raised in Papakolea, HI, Clem attended Lincoln Elementary and Stevenson Intermediate before attending Kamehameha School for Boys Class of 1960. In his time at Kamehameha Schools, Clem excelled at many subjects and sports
including basketball, football, and shot put. He also paddled with Waikiki Surf Club, paddling the Moloka'i Channel five times.
Sergeant Clem Enoka had 27 years of service with the Honolulu Police Department in Patrol, Head of Parks Police, Crime
Reduction Unit in Kailua, Detective, District 3, and District 4. He was a Graduate of "Hanauma Bay". After his retirement from the
HPD, Clem moved on to Director of Security at Waikiki Trade Center for 14 years and Director of Security of Waterfront Plaza-
Restaurant Row for 6 years.
Being "Coach Enoka" was a huge part of his life. He coached football at his Alma Mater, Kamehameha Schools, then briefly at
Damien Memorial School. At Kamehameha Schools, he coached the Intermediate, JV, and Varsity football teams for 25 years and the Varsity Golf team for 24 years becoming the ILH Golf Coordinator at that time. In his free time, he was an avid golfer
and football enthusiast. He was a part of many sports organizations including President of Police Makai Golf Club and
NoeNoe's Patio Mountain-Ball league team. He was the Owner/President of "Golf Tournaments Made Easy" and
organized charitable and scholarship fundraisers for many organizations including the American Diabetes Assoc., IREM,
BOMA, ASIS, Na Hoku, etc. and PGA and LPGA Oahu Golf Tournaments. He was also a member and on the Board of
Directors for the Hawaiian Civic Club of Honolulu.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Maylene K. Enoka;

(Kimberly) P. Enoka III;

Grandchildren: Tiana-Leigh (Matthew) Paet, Trisha-Leigh Chang, Christopher Paul Villanueva, Tasha-Leigh (Kamuela) Yong, Tierra-Leigh Chang, Schae-Ann Enoka, Trenton Patrick Chang, JonahVillanueva, 'Iolani Enoka, Treydon Chang;
Hanai Grandchildren: Jerry Faamaile;
Great-Grandchildren: Kamaile-Ann Paet, Isaiah Chang-Amaral, Madden 'Ikena Chang-Soliai; Brother: Clarence
(Erleen) Enoka; Sisters: Jerre Jean (Hiram) Kaikaina, Star Nani (Philip) Pai.
Clem will always be remembered for his integrity, humility, and his loving and kind nature. He will forever be a husband, father,
brother, papa, coach, and friend. He is greatly missed by all who knew him.
Services will be held at Kamehameha Schools Bernice Pauahi
Bishop Memorial Chapel on Saturday October 8, 2011. Visitation
12:30pm-2:30pm Services 2:30pm - 3:30pm.
