Mary Louise Smith-Luz

Mary Louise Smith-Luz, age 94, of Inverness, Florida, passed away quietly on January 28, 2023. Louise was larger than life because of her unconditional love for everyone. Her happy, radiant, deep and caring personality was immediately apparent by those that knew her. She was the best mother, grandmother, Aunt and friend. Her passion was definitely the love of her grandchildren. She loved to sew, crochet, knit & cook. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and also a member of the Eastern Star in Floral City, FL. Mary Louise is preceded by her first husband Willie Raymond (Pete) Smith, (47 years); second husband, Theodore Norman Luz. (19 years). She is survived by 5 children: son and daughter-in-law Ernie & Ivy Smith; daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Rick Ramsey; daughter and son-in-law Mary Diane and John Lawson; son and daughter-in-law Gene & Tomi Smith; son and daughter-in-law Bruce & Kathy Smith; 14 Grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
