Went to be with the Lord on January 3, 2013 at age of eighty two.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty eight years, Ouida Camp Stephens.
He is also survived by two daughters, LaQuita Green-Zito (Joseph Charles Zito)
and Eloise Kines (Joey Kines); 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; two
sisters Joyce McCormick and Josephine Anthony; two brothers, R.B. Stephens
and Richard Stephens; numerous nieces and nephews.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired from
Jim Walters Corporation. Formerly a Deacon at Katherwood Baptist Church
and current member of Hunter Street Baptist.
Visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2013 from 12pm-2pm. Service time at 2pm held
at Ridouts Valley Chapel Homewood. Internment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
He was a wonderful man. A loving Husband and Father that will be dearly missed by all.
