Birmingham lost a great citizen on March 6, 2019. If you knew Ed Bailey, then you know why he was so well loved. Ed was a talented architect. You can't drive far in Birmingham without seeing his work. Ed was an encourager. He was always the first to make anyone feel appreciated and loved. Ed cherished his family. As one of thirteen children, he has more brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews than can be listed here. He kept us with all of them and made sure they kept up with each other. Ed will be forever loved and missed by his son, Daniel, his step-daughter, Jody DuBois, and his step-son, Jon DuBois. There is too much to say about a man who lived his life so well to even attempt it here. Join the family for remembrances on March 9th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel, on Oxmoor Road.
