Howard was preceded in death by Walter Klotz, Pearl Klotz, Verna Klotz and Robert Klotz.
He is Survived are his loving wife of 62 years, Alice Ranalli Klotz; daughter, Barbara (Mitch) Bevill, two grandsons; James Bevill and Andrew Bevill, threee sisters, Carol (James) Treglio, Donna (Robert) Grogg, and Sharon (John) Marcinczyk and over twenty nieces and nephews.
After serving in the United States Army in Korea, Howard attended Montclair State University in New Jersey. Howard worked in the Insurance Accounting Industry in various roles and locations before returning to New Jersey and working as a Chief Financial Officer in New York City. Howard enjoyed fishing, traveling, and gardening–but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. After retiring he and Alice moved south to be closer to his daughter, son-in-law and grandsons.
The family will receive friends beginning at twelve noon on Tuesday, the 3rd of January, 2023 at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood, Alabama with the funeral service following at one o'clock in the afternoon. Burial will immediately follow at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, Alabama.
