Carrie Tate Hurley Finch, age 98 of Homewood, AL passed away on December 13, 2011. She was born the youngest of 7 children in Leighton, AL on November 6, 1914. Carrie worked for New York Life Insurance Company in an administration roll prior to marrying her husband, Virgil Curtis Finch Jr. who died in 1964. She raised her 2 children Arlene Bell and Curtis Finch (Christine) who both live in Atlanta, GA, she is also survived by her 8 grandchildren all who live in Atlanta, GA. and Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Finch was a member of First United Methodist Church of Birmingham, AL for over 50 years.
Graveside services for Mrs. Finch will be Sunday, December 16,2012 at 3:00PM at Elmwood Cemetery.
