Indiana, Brenda was the daughter of the late Geneva May Troxell and Paul Eugene Troxell. Brenda married John Lipscomb in 1991 and they spent 32 wonderful years together.
Brenda had a heart for many charitable and philanthropic organizations. One closest to her heart was The Foundry Rescue Mission. Brenda was an early supporter of the Foundry and served on their Board for over a decade. She spent several years working with the Foundry’s director, Reverend Bill Heintz, assisting in its tremendous growth with the purpose of serving the needy and restoring lives of people and families through a Christ‐centered recovery program.
Brenda also spent 15 years teaching Mountain Brook Boys Bible Club. She mentored many young boys
with the knowledge of Christ.
For several years Brenda had a very successful Interior Design career. In 2003 Brenda joined a new
women’s fashion company, Cabi. Brenda found her calling and excelled as the company grew. She
witnessed the company’s rapid growth while achieving many sales and personal goals. Brenda was the
first Cabi stylist to reach $1 million in sales and to date is the first in the company with over $5 million in
sales over her 19+ years. Even with all the professional successes she has had, she considered her
biggest achievement the relationships and friendships she developed with her colleagues and
faithful clients (friends).
