Betty F. Moulton

Betty Virginia Friday Moulton, of Birmingham formally of Albany, GA died January 9, 2016. Mrs. Moulton was born on December 26, 1928 in Birmingham to the late Eva and Arthur Friday. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John Lewis Moulton. Mrs. Moulton was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and Auburn University. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Albany. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Moulton, son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Anne Moulton, grandchildren, John Patrick Moulton, Lacey Moulton Downing (Will), Catherine Anne Moulton Curtis (Ellis), Billy Harbert Moulton, Jenny Fowler Hartsfield (Bo), Katie Fowler Wasden (Jeff), John Moulton Fowler (Shelley), nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and special care-givers, Teresa Stanford, Barbara Rush, and Wendi Green.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 12 at 11:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery with a reception following at the home of Anne and Rusty Moulton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 212 N. Jefferson Street, Albany, GA 31701 or a charity of your choice.

Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood.
