Jay Scott Bell was born May 13, 1953 in Ann Arbor, MI the son of Jay Thomas and Patricia (Cheney) Bell who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage on May 25, 1974 in Ashland, MO to Lois Edwards. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Holts Summit, MO. Jay retired in 2023 from Alphla as a warehouse manager. He enjoyed collecting hot wheels, watching Mizzou football games and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include: his wife of 50 years, Lois Bell of the home; one son, Travis Bell (Crystal) of New Bloomfield, MO; one daughter, Wendy Dippold (Larry) of Jefferson City, MO; one brother, Steven Bell (Vicky) of British Columbia, Canada; one sister, Becky Gillis of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, McKayla, Zachary, Cameron, Tylor, Cole and William and seven great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Rowyn, Sunday, Xavier, Ivan, Braxton and Judah.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, MO. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Nolan Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Summit Memorial Park in Holts Summit, MO.
