Joan, no doubt , was a fire cracker. She was always smiling and friendly. She will be sincerely missed.

Her passing hit me very hard. We loved when she used thetrain whistle. She can not be replaced. She will be missed.

I'm left with the knowledge that Joan always had time for me.That's a great way to touch someone. In thought and prayer. With sincere sympathy .

I am so sorry to hear about Joan. I always enjoyed seeing her and Anna for my FAA medicals. I will never forget her blowing the train whistle to speed Dr Perraud and going to the office I felt like family. Joan will be missed!

There is No DeathAuthor unknownI am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength and I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and the sky come to mingle with each other.Then someone at my side says: "There! She's gone!" Gone from my sight that is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living weight to her destined port.Her diminished size is in me not in her. And, just at the moment when someone at my side says, "There! She's gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout "There she comes!" And that is dying.

Please accept my condolences for your loss. There is no worse pain then losing a loved one to death, many have found comfort in this Bible verse, Isaiah 25:8 which says, that God will swallow up death forever. How wonderful it will be to embrace our loved ones again. The Bible also says that God will wipe away the tears from our eyes and death will be no more, neither mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away (Rev. 21:3, 4). We need not fear death again, for God has promise that it would be abolish forever, and God can not lie, as said in Titus 1:2. May you find comfort in these words and the peace you so much need in theses moments of pain.

There are so many great memories after 26 years. I remember the first time I went for my physical and Joan politely instructed me how to fill out my form correctly! I thought I knew better, but she knew the best! Now Anna, you know what I mean about politely! After that first physical I decided to always go to The Dr. Perraud and Joan Show. I loved every minute. The only time I looked forward to going to a doctor. I cannot add to any of the tributes for I have witnessed all that have been written. Love you Joan. Like the others, I want to hear that whistle again!

Forgot, please take the train whistle with you.... so I can find you in the future :-)

Joan, you will be so missed by so many. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed see you each visit for over 20 years. I will never forget our special time together prior to anyone else showing up and we just talked and laughed waiting for Dr. George to show up, whenever that happened, lol. You will always be in my fond memories in Aviation.. You will truly be missed Joan.

I suppose it's only fitting we should lose Joan so quickly after the loss of Doctor Perraud . They were a hell of a team . I will never forget the train whistle after great discussions with Doc. I suppose without Joan, I may have spent all day there. That would have been ok . Thank you Joan for making me smile , laugh and now cry . What a woman ! God bless you Anna , I will see you soon . Your mom is so very proud of you.

What an extraordinary woman! My, she will be missed. She leaves a legacy of love and a beautiful extended family. God bless you all, and deepest condolences from Dean, Sophia and Ethan.

Will always remember Joan trying to get Dr. George to get on to his next appointment with that train whistle. He would eventually pay attention. She always went out of her way to try make sure you were doing ok... She always reminded me of one of my friend's mothers putting up with all of us pilots...Very Sorry for your loss Anna and Family. I always enjoyed being around Joan; giving her big hugs, amused by her quick mind and sassy responses! The other time spent with Joan besides getting physicals, was trying to help keep her computers clean from bugs. Joan, what a wonderful and special person you were in this life. On top of everything all of the time. JUST LIKE CLOCKWORK I ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO MY 6 MONTH VISIT TO DR. GEORGE & SWEET JOAN. JOAN WAS ALWAYS SO NICE TO ME AND WOULD ALWAYS TRY TO GET ME AN APPOINTMENT THAT WOULD WORK WITH MY DAYS OFF(SHE ALWAYS DID). JOAN'S DESK WAS AT THE OTHER END OF THE EXAMINING TABLE AND SOMETIMES SHE WOULD BE SITTING THERE ON HER COMPUTER AS ANNA WAS PLUGGING ME INTO THE EKG AND BECAUSE I'M TALL MY BIG BARE FEET WOULD SOMETIMES TOUCH HER BACK. I ASKED HER IF SHE'D LIKE A BACK RUB!! SHE JUST LAUGHED AND SAID "SURE, WHY NOT"!! JOAN WILL BE MISSED AND LIKE DR. GEORGE, WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN...
