Mrs. Fulmer was a lifelong resident of Red Bank. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church, and graduated from Red Bank High School in 1950. She retired from First Tennessee Bank/First Horizon Bank after 35 years of service. Virginia’s fondest memories were her vacations with husband, Tommy, to Florida’s Gulf Coast and her daily conversations with her sister, Johnnie Jernigan.
Surviving are her stepchildren, Michael Fulmer, Kimberly Fulmer, Karen Delashmitt; Stepbrothers, Larry Tallent and Phil Tallent; and nephew, Van Jernigan, his wife Carolyn Kaufman.
The family would like to offer their most sincere gratitude to caregiver and companion, Jennifer Carmichael.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Thomas F. Fulmer; parents, John and Aliene Crerar; Primary caregivers, William and Addie Crerar, daughter, Linda Grey Atchley; sister, Johnnie Mae Jernigan; and brother, Doyle Edward Crerar.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 PM, November 3rd at the Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Bill Harvey, officiating.
