Richard aka the “North Shore Santa” for many years delighted in spreading Christmas cheer to many children over the years. “Santa” also received a law degree from Memphis State University. He was born in Leeds, England in 1947 to the late Bernard and Gladys Bonnington.
He was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents.
Left behind to cherish Richard’s memory are his wife of 42 years, Sherry, children, Marty (Amanda) Bonnington, Nikki (Leslie) Ellis, and Richard Graham Bonnington, Jr., grandchildren, Alicia and Philip Bonnington, sister, Judy (Darwin) Michielsen, brother, Stuart (Peggy) Bonnington, and many dear friends.
There will be no formal services for Richard per his wishes.
