He was a longtime resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Presbyterian faith. Ray retired from the security profession. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, swinging with his grandchildren at the park, feeding the ducks and traveling.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charmaine Tennyson and father, Ray Pierce Hall.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Laura Bledsoe Hall; children, Steven Hall and Rachael (Chris) Wilson; grandchildren, Shae and Maddalin Hall; siblings, Phyllis (Marcel) Renn, Tim (Rosa) Hall, Charmaine (Louis) Corlione and Kevin Hall; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Friday and 10:30 to 11:30 am on Saturday at the North Chapel.
Services for Ray will follow at 11:30 am on Saturday at the North Chapel with Reverend Tom Shoemate officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
