She was born in Virginia in 1935 but lived from age 5 in Sweetwater, TN. She was the daughter of Dr. Dewey R. and Louise C. Greenhoe. She attended King College (University), graduating in 1957 with a degree in Biology. During her working years, she was employed by The Dow Chemical Company, Midland, Michigan; Health and Environmental Sciences Laboratory, as an Asst. Dean of Women at King College; Pharmaceuticals at Parke-Davis in Ann Arbor; and later at Dow Chemical again in Toxicology Information. Nancy married William R. Fronk in 1962. They lived in Michigan and Hong Kong during Bill's Dow career.
She was predeceased by her aforementioned parents and her two sisters: Mary L. Greenhoe of Sweetwater, TN and Betsy Green of Signal Mountain, TN.
Surviving are her husband, William, and two children: Elizabeth Fronk of Chattanooga, TN and Andrew Fronk of San Antonio, TX., and her two grandsons, Alezander Fronk and Matthew Fronk of San Antonio.
Memorial donations, if desired, may be made to the Mary Greenhoe Scholarship Fund, Tennessee Wesleyan University or to the Betsy Green Nursing Scholarship at Chattanooga St. Community College.
