Nancy Annette (Brady) Anderson

Nancy Annette (Brady) Anderson, 66, of Soddy Daisy went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ on January 31, 2023. She was born in Spokane, Washington on September 9, 1956. Nancy enjoyed working in the garden with her flowers and loved all children.

Her family returned to Chattanooga where she grew up in Red Bank with her sisters, Martha, Phyllis, Sharon, Christy, and Patty, her brothers, Danny, Mitchell, and Kirk. She graduated Red Bank High School in 1974. She served as a church secretary at Memorial Baptist Church for approximately 15 years. She currently was a member of Stuart Heights Baptist Church, Chattanooga Campus. She was Co-Owner of Anderson Construction Company in Hixson. She leaves many, many wonderful Christian friends and loved ones behind.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Anderson, father, Lowell Brady, mother, Ruth Jeffers, brother, Danny Brady, sister, Phyllis, niece, Joanie Hendricks and step mother, Shirley Smith.

Left behind to cherish Nancy’s memory are her husband of 49 years, James Anderson Jr., daughter, Kathy (Bob) Lawson, grandchildren, Sydney, Tyler, and Jamie Lawson, sisters, Martha, Sharon, Christy, and Patty, brothers, Mitchell Brady and Kirk Mincy.

A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held at Stuart Heights Baptist Church on Friday February 10, 2023 at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Nancy’s memory can be made to Stuart Heights Baptist Church or St. Jude Childrens Hospital.

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
