Mary Corinne Rogers

Mary was a graduate of McMinnville High School, Warren County, Tennessee. She went on to attend Tennessee Tech University where she graduated will a B.S. degree in Home Economics and Education. Mary taught 2nd grade for many years at Red Bank Elementary school. She was a member Red Bank Baptist Church and was in the Hope Sunday school class.

Mary was a member of the Nancy Ward, DAR Chapter.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents Forrest and Ella Mae Grove; sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Greer Ruble; brother-in-law Don Yancy; nephew Bill Yancy; son-in-law Jimmy Lee

Mary is survived by her husband of 63 years, Walter Rogers

Two daughters Barbara Lee of Buford, Georgia and Judith (Lee) Thomas of Huntsville, Alabama,

sister Wilma Jean Yancy

four grandchildren Robyn Michelle and Kelli Marie Jones and Logan Jordon and Corey Austin Thomas

The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6 -8pm on Friday December 14, 2012 and 10am until the time of service on Saturday, December 16, 2012 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:30am on Saturday, December 16, 2012 in the funeral home chapel

with Rev.Bert Jones, Dr. Fred Steelman and Bill Harvey Officiating

Interment will follow to Hamilton Memorial Gardens
