Sue was a member of Morris Hill Baptist Church and retired from Signal Knitting Mill after 36 years of service.
She is preceded in death by her husband, H.B. Lynn; parents, Ernest and Matte Zella Brown Dickerson; foster son, John Nunnelley; two brothers, Johnnie Dickerson and Lonnie Dickerson and a sister, Pauline Nunnelley.
Survivors are her foster children, April Brownell and Toby Nunnelley and three nephews, Robert Dickerson, Lonnie Dickerson, Jr. and Darrell Dickerson.
A special thanks to Sam Cotman and other caregivers for their kind and compassionate care of Sue.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 8 p.m. Saturday and from 12 until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
