Miss Louise P. Edwards, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016. Louise was born in Eastman, GA to parents, T.C. and Inez (Hodges) Edwards. She was a Chattanooga resident and faithful member of First Baptist Church of Chattanooga for 72 years. She retired from TVA with 42 years of service. Louise enjoyed international travel, she was a tutor for English second language students, taught Sunday School for several years, and volunteered at the Community Kitchen. She is survived by several cousins and extended family. There will be a memorial service in the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Chattanooga on Monday August 8th at 1:00 PM with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church or the Community Kitchen. Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
