Joyce was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and the Cornerstone Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Granvile and Catherine Brannen; her devoted husband of 53 years, Franklin Bushman and twin newborn sons.
Joyce is survived by her children, Catherine (Melvin) Carson, Gary (Christain) Bushman and Pam Barnett; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; extended family, Tom, Twila and Jacob Layne and her companion, Dachshund “Roxie”; siblings, Lynn (Pat) Brannen, Barbara Williamson and Kenny Brannen;
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 pm on Sunday and 12 to 1 pm on Monday at the North Chapel.
Services for Joyce will be held at 1 pm on Monday at the North Chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating. Burial will be at 10 am on Tuesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
