John David Raby, Sr., 61, of Rossville, GA passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2020. He had been employed as a truck driver with Star Transportation and as a Mechanic and Paint and Body man with Dallas Bay Body and Frame. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Imogene Oledia Raby; brother, Danny Raby and a sister, Henrietta Raby.
Survivors include his son, John David (Sharita) Raby, Jr.; daughter, Misty Haswell; six grandchildren; one brother, Donnie (Sheila) Raby; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 5401 Highway 153. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Due to the national health pandemic, we will be asking that face masks be worn at the visitation and funeral and that social distancing is practiced.
