Jeremy was a passionate and beautiful soul. He brought happiness and laughter to all those around him. He was a car enthusiast, a passionate cook, and a skilled carpenter. He also enjoyed expressing himself through art. He had the unique ability to absorb information – he could tell you everything about anything. The joy of his life was being a devoted dad to his youngest son Lincoln.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents Ray and Madge Lane, Tom and Wilma Bond and his father Gary Bond.
Jeremy is survived by his loving family, wife (of 8 years) and partner (of nearly 20 years) Sarah Lane, mother-in law Randy (husband Dennis) Selvidge, sisters-in-law Sammi and Shana Gollop, his mother Janice Bond, his brother Samuel Bond, his father Jimmy (wife Scotti) Lane of Knoxville, TN, his sons James of Durham, NC, Jackson (wife Theo) of San Antonio, TX and Lincoln Lane. Jeremy also had a number of close friends. Jeremy will be deeply missed by all of those who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel and on Sunday, November 3, from 2:00 pm -3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Chattanooga, 401 Gateway Ave., in the Chapel.
The Celebration of Life for Jeremy will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 3 at First Baptist Church of Chattanooga on 401 Gateway Ave., in the Chapel with Dr. Thomas Quisenberry officiating.
A Private Burial will be held with family and close friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to First Baptist Church on 401 Gateway Avenue, or Lighthouse Kids Center for Autism in Hixson.
