Helen A. Jackson, 79, of Hixson, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 11, 1945, Helen lived a life marked by strength, devotion, and an unyielding love for those she held dear.
Helen is survived by her husband of 60’ Years of Marriage, John Jackson; her daughter, Deona Durham (Keith); her son, John Jackson III (Gini); and her cherished grandchildren Kaitlin Bowman (Braxton), Caroline Richey (Tanner), John Jackson IV, and Wesley Jackson. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren Jackson, Collins, Wyatt, Coleston, Clayton, and Lynlee, who brought her endless joy.
Helen will be remembered for her determination, outgoing personality, and steadfast loyalty to her family. She served the Chattanooga Real Estate Community for over 30 years. She was the cornerstone of her family, always offering love, support, and encouragement. Her incredible story telling and generosity brought light to every room she entered, and her devotion to her loved ones served as a testament to her generous heart.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:30 pm on Friday, Dec. 20, at the North Chapel.
The family will celebrate Helen’s life with a Celebration of Life at 3:30 pm on Friday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to your favorite charity or ministry in memory of Helen Jackson, a reflection of Helen’s giving nature.
Though Helen will be deeply missed, her legacy of love and resilience will live on through the lives of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
