Glenn Earl Green, 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 1st, surrounded by his loving family. Earl was born on September 21, 1955, the eldest son of the late George and Lizzie Green.
Earl was a devoted husband, father, and a man of deep faith, which he demonstrated daily in how he lived his life. He was known for his selflessness, always putting others before himself. Earl was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 515 for 20 years, as well as Local
528. He had a passion for Tennessee football, playing the guitar, and a deep love for classic cars. He was affectionately known by his family as the "Encyclopedia of Classic Cars."
Earl is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lizzie Green, his sister, Kathy Anderson, and his brother, Joe Green.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Debra Ann Green. Together, they have three children: Michael Green (Annie), Kristy Green, and Brandon Green (Hailey), who were the light of his life. Earl also adored his grandchildren, Dylan, Haiden, Emma, and Lola, who brought out the most tender and loving side of him. They cherished watching how he lived his life and will carry forward his legacy of kindness and generosity. Earl is also survived by his sister, Jan
Brown (Scott), his brother, Jimmy Green (Tonya), as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6th from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 7th at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
