Gerald Paul Phillips, 87, of Soddy Daisy died Wednesday, January 26, 2023. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Mason Bert Phillips and Edith Lennie Frost Phillips. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Howard Phillips and a sister, Carolyn Ann Phillips.
Mr. Phillips worked as a pharmacist for many years. He loved his Lord and studied the bible for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Voncile Phillips, daughters, Christy Tankersley, Chrissie (Gordy) Nichol, and Martha Smalley, sons, David (Janie) Phillips and Roy (Teresa) Tankersley, brother, Thomas (Jo) Phillips and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 Sunday, January 29 and 2-3 Monday, January 30 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 3:00 Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
