Frances "Jack" Ann (Armour) Heiskell

Frances was born July 28, 1942, in Peakland, TN to Wilbur Baxter and Annie Aikman Armour. She is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; husband of 60 years, Brownie Heiskell; and sister, Dorothy Armour Letner.

She is survived by her son, Bryan Heiskell; daughter, Angela Heiskell Reeves; grandson, Cameron Reeves, who she shared a sweet and special bond with; one sister, Mable Armour Butler; and special cousins, Roy and June Aikman.

After graduating from Meigs County High School, she was employed by DuPont for 8 years. She then worked as a preschool teacher at Hixson First Baptist and Abba’s House.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank.

She loved the Lord and served Him daily through her kind and loving spirit shared with everyone she knew.

The family would like to thank Solomon’s House and their staff, Shirley Lawson, and Carolyn McCallie for the care they gave Frances during her last days.

A visitation for Frances will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, P.O. Box 9, Hixson, TN 37343. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. A committal will occur Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 TN-153, Chattanooga, TN 37343.
