She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born in Pikeville, TN and a longtime resident of Chattanooga, she was a homemaker and hair dresser in earlier years. Mrs. Goodwin was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church and and former member of Ridgedale Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Myron Harrison Goodwin; parents, Elmer and Lucinda Holland; and sister, Eleanor Parson.
She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Mike) Pinson; sons, Dennis (Mary) Goodwin and Gary (Carolyn) Goodwin, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Ty (Tricia) Goodwin, of Chickamauga, Ga., Seth (Julie) Goodwin of Ringgold, Ga., Carmen (Chris) Ramsey of Chattanooga, Ashley (Michael) Glaser of Derby, Ks., Chad (Melodie) Goodwin of Jackson, Ms., and Travis Goodwin of Knoxville, Tn.; great-grandchildren Ian, Aiden, and Asher Goodwin, Peyton and Dalton Ramsey, and Morgan and Madison Glaser; two nieces and extended family.
The family would like to express appreciation to NHC at Parkwood and Hospice of Chattanooga for their loving care of their mother.
Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Moses officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
