Doris Grace Heatherly, 92, of Chattanooga died Thursday, December 31, 2020. She was born in Chattanooga the daughter of the late Virgil and Gladys Wallace. Her husband of 49 years Harry Heatherly and two sisters Evelyn Wallace and Katheryn Brannon preceded her in death.
She was loved by so many family and friends. Everyone has shared how much they loved her and will miss her sweet spirit and smile !
She taught the toddler class at Red Bank Baptist for 50 years, teaching many generations of pupils children and grandchildren. She and her late husband co-owned Heatherly Upholstering for 24 years.
Doris and her husband lived and breathed softball. She was involved in local Amateur Softball Association for 40 Years.
Survivors include two daughters Debbie (Thomas) Flansburg and Carmen Jones. She has 4 granddaughters, Deborah Bailey, Kim Lloyd, Gina Bigham, and Crissy Rector; 7 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Tuesday, January 5 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 1-3 Tuesday.
