Mrs. Carolyn Elizabeth Tomic, 75, of Soddy Daisy, passed away at her residence on Sunday, August 18, 2018. Carolyn was born in Milan Indiana on September 10, 1942. She graduated from Dillsboro High School in 1960. She earned a Bachelors degree in education from Ball State Teachers College and her Masters degree from Ball State University. She taught school in Indiana for 9 years before getting married on June 14, 1969 to John Tomic. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend, teacher, sportswoman, and house builder. Raising her children was her greatest love. For her it has always been appreciation of the Simple Things. She would want each of us to remember with a smile on our faces: her humor, silliness, kindnesses, and love. So please help us celebrate a wonderful life.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Tomic; son, John Andrew Tomic; daughter, Lt Col Stacy Marie Tomic; and twin sister, Kathryn Pasch.
