Anne J. Brown, 100, of Chattanooga died Monday, April 17, 2023 in Chattanooga. She was born October 25, 1922 in Chattanooga to the late Thomas P. and Lula Mae Jones. She married Carroll Hubbard Brown in 1949. She was an active member of Rivermont Presbyterian Church since 1960. She kept busy with her family and doing volunteer work.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Block, brother, Tom P. Jones, Jr. and sisters, Ruth J. Evans and Dorothy Reckard.
She is survived by three children Carroll H.(Patti) Brown, Jr., Donna (Scott) Mattice, and Jennifer (Howard) Wiese, eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 -11:00 Friday, April 21 at Rivermont Presbyterian Church, 3319 Hixson Pike, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37415. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 at the church. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
