James was such an amazing, caring, and charismatic person. He always had a way of making everyone feel comfortable, welcome, and important.  In the time I got to know him working clinics for health department, he was never shy about sharing his passions, updates on his house projects, or stories to make people laugh. He will truly be missed.

Derek was a wonderful human being and an amazing companion to Nicole.  I will cherish the time he and Nicole came over and we hung out for hours at my house and had a few beers.  He had the charisma to make everyone he meets feel like they have known him forever.  He is absolutely missed and our loss is Gods gain.  My prayers go out to my girl Nicole and the Lintol family.

Mr. Lintol was an amazing supervisor at CV. He helped ignite my passion for the field. I’ll never forget all the great moments talking with him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family

Thank you Mr. Lintol for teaching me so much as an intern at CV. I learned so much from him while I worked there. I watched him go from staffer to Case coordinator a major accomplishment! You will truly be missed! Your family will forever be in my prayers. 

James Lintol  was not only my case coordinator partner, he was  my friend, we worked together at Children's Village not only when he was a case coordinator but a supervisor as well. "Lintol" as I called him was great with the children as well as working with the staff. Many, many times we would go to each others office an bounce different ideas off of each other on how to work with difficult residents, Lintol's ideas were great as well as effective.  In the last few months Lintol and I worked at the Health Department together, not in the same area but we passed each other in the hall, Lintol would always stop and give me a hug and a few moments of his time to chat and catch up on each others lives. I can not be at the memorial service for Lintol, but I will be there in spirt. I will treasure the "Selfies" that we often took during different occasions, we were always being silly having a good time. Family, Lintol has changed the way that I look at organ donation and how important it is, what a selfless gift he made, but everyone knows that he was that kind of person. I will miss him greatly. I worked with James .  I met him at CV.  He  always greeted me with a smile.
During Covid, we worked together at the testing sites, and vaccine clinics.  He was a leader.  He was alway there to answer a question and quick to give a helping hand whenever it was needed .  His kindness and compassion were  broad-  He showed it through words and actions, with his coworkers, children and the public.
He will be deeply missed.  


Derek was a friend and neighbor to our late son; Todd Daniel.   
We  also knew Derek; as Todd brought him over to our home a few times.    He was a wonderful young man.
Our hearts and prayers go out to Derek's whole family (Nicole too)
Special thoughts for Wes and his family.    Todd and his children were friends of theirs also.
Sadness cannot be described -- only felt.    Memories help to heal the sadness.   May all the memories you have comfort you folks.

Just want to send my thoughts and prayers to James family.
James was a kind and hard working young man. He was kind and patient with all the children here at CV.
He often spoke of his family and how they spent a lot of time together. I could tell his family was the single most important thing in his life. When he spoke about his nephews his face would light up. He loved those boys. I am so sorry for your loss. James will be missed by all.

I worked at OCCV for several years. Mr. Lintol was always professional.  He was great with the kids. I enjoyed talking with him and he had a great sense of humor. My condolences to his family and friends. 

I worked with Derek at Children’s Village for many years.  He was as caring and compassionate as he was strong and steadfast with kids, families and staff.  Such a tragic loss for so many who loved working with him and appreciated his leadership and his friendship.  He was one of our very best.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I worked many years with Mr. Lintol at OCCV. He was an excellent staff and a great person. He was always smiling and willing to help with whatever was needed.  He will be greatly missed by all. My thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

 Spent many afternoons and nights working with Derrick. We had a lot of laughs and talks. Went to school with his dad and uncle and know how much they meant to him.
  Derrick was a good man and was good as supervisor in J building. Worked hard and expected his staff to also. He later moved on to case coordinator. I'm sure he excelled there also. He always had a laugh and smile. 
 He will be missed.
