David Lewis Jenkins

David Lewis Jenkins, age 92, of White Lake, was born May 17, 1931 in Detroit and passed away August 10, 2023 in Commerce Township. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Jenkins for 60 years. Loving father of Karen Jenkins, David (the late Ronda) Jenkins, and Pamela (Tom) Jenkins. Proud grandfather of Derek (Carolyn) Jenkins, Dylan (Amanda) Jenkins, David Henn, Karen Henn, and Tommy Henn. Cherished great-grandfather of David Jenkins, Emilia Jenkins, and Kelsey Foster-Henn. Treasured great-great-grandfather of Everly. David will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. David was preceded in passing by his parents, Robert and Lillian Jenkins; and his siblings, Mary, Bob, and Peggy.

David was a dedicated individual who found success as a sales engineer, retiring from Columbia Metal in 1997. He cherished his education, having graduated from Henry Ford Trade School in June 1949, and remained connected to his alma mater as a member and president of the Alumni Association. David's strong faith in Jesus was a cornerstone of his life, and he shared his love for cinema as a former part owner of Milford Cinema. Above all, he was remembered as a wonderful dad and grandfather who left a lasting impact on those around him.
