Carol M. Spohr of Hartland, formerly of Livonia, passed away September 12, 2022 at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of Gerald for 68 years. Loving mother of David (Gulia) Spohr, Barbara (Sean) Mattice, Dennis (Theresa) Spohr, Bob (Joanna) Spohr and Dan (Jackee) Spohr. Proud grandmother of Kenneth, Krissi, Matthew, Stacy, Alyssa, Devin and Nick along with several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece, Kathy Wiberg. Sadly, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Samberg.
Mrs. Spohr was totally devoted to her children, grandchildren and family. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy High School where she was a member of the band and played drums and sang in the choir. She was a devout catholic, a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Livonia and enjoyed participating in Catholic retreats. Among her many interests; she liked watching Tiger baseball, thunderstorms and one of her favorites, strawberry ice cream. She will be very much missed by all.
A private cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
