Melissa L. Hubbard

Melissa leaves behind her two sons. The real loves of her life Lil' Tommy and Maurice Jr.

There was nothing she was more proud of then her boys. Also survived by her father Robert C. Johnson: sisters: Amy Dillion (David), Rebaecka Johnson and April Johnson (Ernesto): life partner, Maurice Hubbard; close friend, Thomas Martinez; nieces and nephews Billy Jr., Destiny, Robert, Johnny, Alexia, Conner and Jaxtyn Aunts Barbara, Anita, Delores, Elsie, uncles, Jose Valadez, Charles Sancillo and her many cousins.

There is a long line waiting to meet her including her mother, Juanita Goodall; brother, Robert "Bubba" Johnson: grandparents Joyce and Virgil Powell, Amos Johnson, Martha Valadez, Charles Sancillo.

Melissa lived most of her life in Gary IN. She most recently was employed with Burger King & really enjoyed being around her coworkers & boss (Gina Whitehead) They became family to her.

Melissa loved to make someone laugh, ANYONE!!! She loved being around all of the nieces, nephews and cousins especially the little ones she could chase around, or put in the ball pit trampoline in her living room!

Melissa will be missed by many and remembered for her Firecracker soul.

A public visitation for Melissa will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Rd., Highland, IN 46322.
