Ken was so gracious, helpful, always running toward helping someone in need. He was an ever-willing friend and Christian brother to my mother, and offered his help and friendship to me, too. I cannot believe how fragile life is! That this smiling, down-to-earth, true-blue good guy, saved by Jesus' grace, is, we trust, now with the Lord Jesus in Heaven. Thank you, Lord, for this dear man and his example of loving others, and being your servant. May you give his family your comfort, peace, strength. 

I remember when I was a teen and the things he made me try and grow up.he was the one that made me try different things on pizza. Papa was the most caring men I ever knew. And will always be the best in my eyes. I’ll always remember him as my uncle, papa and even my best friend. Love you so much please rest easy. We all will miss you deeply.

Ken was the best big brother ever , he was always the first one to lend a hand in helping someone out. He was taken from this world far too soon and will be greatly missed

Ken was the best big brother ever, has always there to watch over us or the first one to help when anyone needed a hand. He will be missed greatly. It was far too soon to be called from this life but at least he is safe with family in heaven. 

Ken - it was so hard for me to not call him Kenny after her grew up. He was my oldest brother's oldest son - only 7 1/2 years younger than me. He was so much like his dad. From the time he was a small boy, he was "an old man" in a child's body - so very smart, so very sensitive to the needs of others, always wanting to help. Ken was a deacon at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Hammond and he was  loved dearly by our church family. 
I still cannot wrap my head around this and accept that he is actually gone. Thank you dear God that Ken had such a heart for You. I can rest assured to know I will see him again one day.
I won't say goodbye Ken, just "until later".

He was known as papa.
He was wise beyond his years. 
He was there to comfort many in their tears. 
He opened his home. 
He opened his heart.  
He was a father figure in ways to me at the start.
Be thankful.
Remember the stories. 
Yes, gone too soon.
But cherish the memories. 

|| He was my uncle, but more.  In my early years he was a constant. At every Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and more...he was there.  Helping. Teaching.  Thank you.

R.i.p. papa. I appreciate everything you did for me. The world lost an amazing person. You taught me more than my own father did in only three years. 

Kenny will be greatly missed. He was a good friend and a good man. I have know Kenny and Peggy since Middle School. I was 13 when we met. Rest in Peace my friend. Your legacy lives on in your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. You were truly blessed.

A caring older brother who always watched out for me. He will be missed, and the times we spent together cherished. Sending love and hugs to Peggy, Phillip, Jesse, Lee, all the grandchildren, and the children and family they adopted and cared for in their home through the years.
