Arlene A. Holmes

Arlene A. Holmes (nee Sinkevicz), age 78, of Griffith, IN, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016. She is survived by her two sons: George H. (Bruny Lopez) Holmes and Ron L. (Char) Holmes; two granddaughters: Wendy and Samantha Holmes; great granddaughter, Skye; brother, Larry (Sharon) Sinkevicz; and several nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Holmes; daughter, Susan Mary Holmes; two sons: John A. Holmes and James A. Holmes; and two brothers: Charlie and Allen Sinkevicz. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Church, 525 N. Broad, Griffith, IN at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Theodore Mens officiating. Interment will be held at St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday, January 22, 2016 from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Kuiper Funeral Home.
