Pat was born in Alleghany County, VA, January 2, 1931. She was a LPN who retired from Central Carolina Dermatology and continued her work in health care into her eighty's as a volunteer at High Point Regional Hospital. Pat was a avid traveler and passionate reader. A woman of many talents, she could knit, sew and was happiest when her hands were in the dirt and could play bridge with the best of them. The matriarch of her family creating traditions that will last through generations. Sunday dinners were not to be missed. She was a member of Oakview Baptist Church.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Massie Samuel Liptrap and four children, Pamela Sabourin, Sammy Liptrap, Lorrie Liptrap Thornton and Christopher Liptrap and a sister, Clarice Dame.
Surviving are her sister, Vicki Seville and family along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Pat's life will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sechrest-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 976 Phillips Ave, High Point. The family will receive friends at her home in Jamestown following the service. Masks preferred to protect those at highest risk.
