Nathan William (Houser) Vanden Heuvel of High Point, NC passed away Friday, July 17, 2020 at Hospice Home in High Point, NC. Nathan was born in Forsyth County, NC on August 23, 1979 to Billy Lee Houser and the late Sarah Katherine (Hunt) Houser.
Nathan attended Mt Airy high school and received an Associate Degree in Fashion Marketing from the Art Institute of Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was married to Lee Patrick Vanden Heuvel on November 2, 2014 at Parkway United Church of Christ in Winston Salem, NC.
Nathan is survived by his husband, Lee, two stepsons, Nathan Paul Vanden Heuvel and Eric Paul Vanden Heuvel of Wisconsin, his father, Billy (Joan) Houser of Winston Salem, one sister, Sara Kay France of Winston Salem, two brothers, Darryl Ray France of Apex, Dwight Grover France of Elkin. his uncles, John W. Hughes, Sr,. Elder Ronnie (Ester) Houser, Luther (Mildred) Houser, his aunt Gail (Anthony) Love, two beloved cousins he considered as sisters, Laurel Jessup and Melissa France, and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held at Peace United Church of Christ, 2714 Market St, Greensboro, NC 27403 on Monday, July 20 from 12-2pm. (COVID rules apply, so please respect those who wish to visit, wear a mask and social distance).
A Celebration of Nathan's life will follow at 2pm officiated by Rev. Craig Schaub for family. The service will be livestreamed on Peace United Church of Christ Facebook page for those unable to attend. Memorials may be directed to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
