William J. Adams, 94, of Plainview passed away on April 28, 2018. William is the beloved husband of Catherine for 70 years. He is the loving father of James (Judy), Valorie Sheehan (Jack), Constance MacKay (John), Douglas (Diane) and Dean (Teresa). William is also an adored grandfather and great grandfather. A Veteran of the WWII US Army Air Corps and a proud graduate of Ohio State University- Go Bucs! As an electrical engineer he spent his entire career at LILCO.
Visitation will be at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Home, 125 W. Old Country Rd, Hicksville, Sunday 7-9p and Monday 2-4p and 7-9p. The funeral service will be at Plainview Reformed church at 10am Tuesday, followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens.
