I will always remember Uncle Rick’s wonderful laugh. It filled the room and brought joy to everyone.  He will be deeply missed. 

I remember Rick as a good good man.  A dear husband ,a wonderful father , a loving grandfather and a man who was kind to his core. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone and I’m certain he had many reasons to in his lifetime.   Rest In Peace dear Rick. Your gift to all in our family was an uncomplicated, pure, down to earth Iowa kind of love.  That is the way I will hold you in my heart

Dick was an older cousin of mine and I remember him as such a handsome young man. My dad was a brother to his dad, Jerry.  My sympathy goes out to his family.  He was a hard worker and I remember the plates of food he and his brothers could put away at a meal out on their farm.  Rest in peace.


Good bye for now, to the most caring, selfless and compassionate man I know. I am happy that your suffering is over and that you are where you have aspired to be. Thank you for our lives together, our loving home, and our beautiful children. They are a testament to you  and the the moral compass you guided them with. We will miss you  and love you always!
