Margaret Mary McCormick

Sisters Patricia, Kathleen, Mary and brother Philip completed the Sheridan family.

Margaret resided in the Bronx and attended St. Nicholas of Tolentine school and church.

Graduating from St. Vincent Ferrar high school in 1954.

She worked for many years as a secretary and in later years for

Lincoln Savings bank and Manufactures Hanover.

Marrying William McCormick in 1957 and together raising 5 children in Plainview, NY.

Sons William, Daniel, James , Joseph and daughter Doreen were all part of Our Lady of Mercy parish.

Margaret leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Katie, Kyle, Keri, Marie, Christine, Danny, Erin and Maura.

Her son in law Bill Cooper, Daughters in law Randy and Sonia and her beloved Tik.

Marge would want us all to continue to pray and celebrate life to its fullest.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, May 13, 2024 from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM & 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, 125 W Old Country Road, Hicksville, NY 11801. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 500 S Oyster Bay Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801. A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 11:30 at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, 111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590.
