She received her Bachelor's Degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and later became a Digital Creator for a leading media and marketing agency. Jessica truly had a passion for beauty and cosmetics and loved music but mostly enjoyed spending time with what mattered most to her, her family and friends.

Beloved wife of Michael LaPenta. Loving daughter of Margaret and Marty Ippolito and the late Joseph Rigney. Cherished sister of Jennifer Crawford (Patrick) and Margaret Rigney (Raymond). Loving sister-in-law of Gina Mooney (Sean). Adored aunt of Daniel, Emma, Ava, Olivia and Sophia. Jessica was loved my many and will be missed by all.

Visitation Thursday, October 12th, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm at Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes, 125 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, New York. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, October 13th, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth's Church, 175 Wolf Hill Road, Melville, New York. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jessica's memory to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, two organizations that were very near and dear to Jessica.
