Later on in life Geraldine decided to go back to school and become a Registered Nurse, which she was so very proud of. She worked many years for Central General Hospital in Plainview, New York. She loved to travel and was an avid reader but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Martin D. Peters, Sr, whom she spent 59 beautiful and loving years with.
Beloved mother of Martin Peters, Jr. (Kathryn), Karen Hahn (David), Debra Hobart (David); and Susan Schwartz (David). Loving grandma of David Hahn, Jr. (Phara), Valerie Stein (Jason), Lauren Fryer (Peter), Jennifer Salvaggio (Brett), and Melanie Schwartz. Adored Nana of Kevin Martin Fryer, Bryan Fryer, Chelsea Felix, Chloe Hahn, and Charlotte Hahn. Treasured sister of Raymond Klein and the late George Klein. Cherished Sister In-Law of Michael Borden and Jean Klein. She was loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. Geraldine will be sorely missed by all.
