Born November 6, 1942 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late James Columbus Flowers and Neva Herman Flowers. A member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Patricia was previously employed as a nurse.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John J. Hicks, Jr.
Patricia is survived by sons, John J. Hicks, III and wife Deborah and James (Jamey) Hicks; grandchildren, Austin Hicks and wife Bailey, Garrett Hicks and Dallas Hicks; and great- granddaughter, Harper Hicks.
A Celebration of Life will be held a 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Hickory with Pastor Mark Seaman officiating.
