Born in Catawba County on April 25, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Homer Lee and Lena Huffman.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Homer “Buddy” Huffman Jr.
She was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod, and was retired from Charter Communications after 18 years of customer service.
She is survived by her husband Leonard “Toby” Laws Jr. of the home; daughters Deborah Laws of the home, and Susan Sigmon (James) of Conover; granddaughter Carrie Canning (Timothy) of Conover; grandson Joshua Sigmon (Holly) of Claremont; 4 great granddaughters and a sister-in-law Lillian Huffman of Hickory.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10:00 am to 10:45 am at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod.
