CONOVER----Margie Lail Sigmon, 90 of Conover passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton. Born Margie Victoria Lail on May 24, 1926 in Catawba County to the late Ransom and Lundy Louella LaFone Lail. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roswell Fredrick Sigmon; her daughter Debbie Sigmon Baker; one sister and two brothers. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. She retired as Supervisor at Carolina Glove. She is survived by her son Roswell Darrell Sigmon and wife Libby of Hickory; her daughter Patty Sigmon Queen and husband Sherwin of Conover ;granddaughters Taylor Q. Pugh and husband Derek of Asheboro, Mackenzie Queen and Evan Felton of Conover ; Candace S. Fleming and husband John of Washington DC, Courtney S. Lee-Ashley and husband Matt of Washington DC, Natasha B. Adcock of Hickory; and a grandson Ryan Hoke and wife Kim of Hickory; her sisters Ruby Hedrick of Conover and Joanne Bolick of Conover; her brothers Arlie Lail of Conover and Carl Lail of Conover and 8 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 2:30pm to 3:45pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 4:00pm at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Reverend Scott Bollinger officiating. Memorial may be made to Mt.
