Linda Faye Sigmon

Linda Faye Sigmon, 75, of Claremont, NC, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice. Born on September 18, 1942 in Baltimore City, MD, she was the daughter of the late George M Sigmon and Catherine Bowman Sigmon. Linda served for 3 years in the US Navy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Jo Nell Bolick; niece, Sonya Bolick; and a brother H.G. Huffman Jr. Ms. Sigmon is survived by her sisters, Maebelle Sigmon, Rozelle (Johnnie) Abernathy; nieces and nephew, Belinda Arruza, Lydia (Bobby) Martin, Pam (Scott) Freeman, Crystal (Steve) Thornburg, Rocky Abernathy and Leigh Sigmon; special friends, Rex and Rhonda Bumgarner; and The Great 8 girls, 1960 class at Bunker Hill. A graveside will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Catawba Memorial Park with Chaplain Kim Dowell officiating.
