He was born on February 13, 1949 to the late Harold T. Drum and Ruby Vickers Drum Hill in Catawba County.
Along with his parents, his wife, Linda Drum preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sons, Bradley Drum of Claremont, Ben Lumbard of Charlotte, Mark Lumbard of Mooresville; grandchildren, Noah Lumbard, Makena Lumbard, Jacee Lumbard, Jonah Stilwell; twin brother, Gary Drum of Hickory, brother, Michael Hill of Hickory; and sisters, Brenda Drum Boliek of Claremont, Carolyn Hill Thomas of Hickory, Marie Hill Hefner of Hickory.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date.
