Kisha Marie Bumgarner

Kisha Marie Bumgarner, 38 of Connelly Springs, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 7, 2023.

Born on July 24th, 1985 in Catawba County, NC, she was the daughter of Bruce David and Gail Bumgarner and Mary Ann and Danny Cook. Kisha was a very happy and outgoing person with a passion to help others. She enjoyed the outdoors and hiking. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

Kisha is preceded in death by her grandparents, Betty Maynard, Earl and Mary Bumgarner.

Those left to cherish her memory include, a daughter, Zoie Martin; 2 sons, Zaylan and Zekan; 2 brothers, Bruce Bumgarner, II and wife, Kayla and Sean Ruddy and wife, Brittney; 3 sisters, Nicole Gantt and husband, Reggie, Melissa Eagly, and Jessica Kennedy and was blessed with many nieces and nephews, as well as, many other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Tim Stilwell officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society and The Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Kisha’s name.
