He was born on April 25, 1968 to the late Xiste Andrew Stephen Saulnier and Nina Mae Hall Saulnier in Catawba County. Joseph was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod. He could always light up a room with his smile and laugh. Joseph was a true servant of God, who loved people and enjoyed life itself. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Along with his parents, his brother, Keith Andrew Saulnier; grandparents, Louise Bolick Hall and Lawrence Hall Jr.; Joseph Edwin Saulnier and Marie Saulnier preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Lora Saulnier Cobb and Charles "Chip" Cobb of Lenoir; Aunt Joyce and Uncle Fred Fekete of Hickory; first cousins, Michael and Cheryl Fekete, Todd and Sharon Fekete, Tera and Jonathan Kennedy, Revonda and Howard Ramsey, Randy Sigmon, Chris Hall, Cindy Jo and Rodney Davis; and longtime friend, Joe Stone.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Mo-Synod. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 until 3:45 p.m. at the church. Pastor David Ziehr will officiate the service.
